Week 5 started off great for G “Fource”! The kids came to camp Monday and immediately had two questions on their mind; first, they noticed Maddie was M.I.A.! She was enjoying her days off camping in Maine! The next question was about the brand new water slide that came in this week! The "Dolphin Express" was tried out and tested by G-Fource for the first time on Wednesday! The children were pumped and couldn’t wait to give it a go!
The other big surprise taking place in week 5 was the bouncy house in the game room, coming equipped with a slide and basketball hoop, all the campers love to bounce and play! Thursday’s field trip was to Strawberry Banke and summer tubing! We were extremely excited for Strawbery Banke, but really couldn't wait to go summer tubing at Amesbury Sports Park! Soccer is slowly becoming the group sport, but Grade 4 wanted to mix it up last week with a little hand ball! An intense game got the kids hot and sweaty but who cares, its camp! Grade 4 just carries on to the next activity! The baseball tournament was the highlight of the week with the semi finals Wednesday and the finals on Friday!
Jake coached Team B with a few fourth graders on the team who brought home the gold! Only two weeks left of camp and Grade 4 is still going strong in all activities and continuing to get along and work well together! We hope to keep this attitude going through the rest of the summer! Please continue to bring your WATER, snacks, lunches, and swim gear!
