Week 3 has been an extremely fun filled week! We had TWO field trips, an awesome hot lunch, wicked cool theme day, and a great time swimming. On Monday we started the day by making the para chord bracelets or key chains. We also had a great time at water games later that day. Tuesday was our field trip to Jay Gees where we got to ride go-karts, do batting cages, play mini golf, bumper cars, arcade, ate yummy pizza, and even yummier ice cream! G5 especially loved the go-karts and racing each other to the finish line. Wednesday was another great day for food with our cheeseburger hot lunch catered by Pub 97! Wednesday in project enrichment we got the chance to do an egg drop. Nolan Gorski, Kyle Ventola, Joe Turpin, Christian Sanchez, and Jarred Riley named theirs Egg Burt and theirs survived the most levels of dropping, and even survived the “Gronk spike” test. Good job guys! The next day we went to Dave and Busters! We had so much fun playing in the arcade and eating the yummy buffet. Lots of the kids were able to win cool prizes and some delicious candy. After the field trip we came back to camp to make some sand art with Ms. Brackett in arts and crafts. The kids were exhausted after playing so many arcade games. Friday we went swimming at the Haverhill High pool with G6 and had tons of fun jumping off the diving board and playing Marco Polo. Thanks for a fantastic week grade 5, and we cant wait to see you for week 4!
