It was a very busy week for G7! On Monday, we were excited to welcome a new camper, Cormac. Our campers began the week with another hockey rematch against the 6th graders. Later on, G7 made their very own ice cream in Project Enrichment! They had a great time customizing and eating their frozen treats.
On Tuesday, our campers were occupied with a trip to Salem Willows. Campers spent the majority of the day playing arcade games and cashing in their tickets for big prizes. G7 especially enjoyed playing a giant Pac-Man game and riding a roller coaster simulator. After a morning in the arcade, many campers spent their afternoon on the bumper cars.
Wednesday included a trip to the ice cream cart and a game of kickball. G7 also built their own towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows in Project Enrichment. Even though all of the towers were very creative, we eventually decided that the most creative tower belonged to AJ, Tyler, and Matt.
The highlight of the week was the Whale Watch on Thursday. Our campers really enjoyed exploring the boat and riding the waves along the way. We were all very impressed with the different whales that we saw. We were lucky enough to get a glimpse of 3 different whales, all of different species! G7 was constantly on the look-out, and many campers said that this trip was their favorite!
