On Monday, Grade 6A welcomed our newest member of the group, Nathan, who will be joining us for the remainder of the summer. The campers were also very excited to use the new items in the game room! We now have a huge bouncy house with a huge slide that the campers are so excited to use for the rest of the summer! In addition, the campers also loved playing with the new pool table in the game room and the new blow up slide at water games, The Dolphin Express! On Tuesday, both the campers and counselors of GSRP loved the hip hop performance! Besides learning some new moves, we also got to listen to beat-boxing and rapping performances from our own staff! We also loved watching the performers show off their own routines, such a fun day! On Wednesday in the annual GSRP baseball tournament, G6A counselor Dan coached his baseball team Ya-Bo into the finals, which was set for Friday. So many 6A campers were involved in the baseball tournament, between coaching, playing, and supporting! It was a great tournament! On Thursday, GSRP had a successful two-destination field trip to Strawbery Banke and Amesbury Sports Park. G6A loved exploring all of the houses from different time periods and then had a blast tubing down the huge track. What a great time! |
